Doves

Everything for doves: five Windsor dovecotes, and the parts that go with them.

The cotes run from £1,250 to £4,665. Two are wall mounted, which is the smaller commitment in every sense: a wall mounted dovecote needs no post and no ground work, and starts at £1,250 for three pairs. The other three stand on their own post, from the six nest at £1,885 to the twenty nest at £4,665.

Then there are the accessories, which matter more than they sound. Feed platters sized to the cote. Archway blockers in sets of six, twelve or twenty, for closing nests off while a new flock settles. And nest cupboards, with four segregated bays and a front that opens.

Rob reckons he has made over a thousand dovecotes since 1979.
