Collection: Tortoise Hibernation Caddy
THIS IS NOT A BOX, THIS IS A CADDY
We have been requested, yet again, to begin making Tortoise Hibernation Boxes. However, to my mind, washing powder and Cornflakes come in BOXES. We intend to call ours a Tortoise Hibernation Caddy.
WALLS:
Foil insulation, equivalent to 2” of polystyrene. Decorated using Granddad Robs now distinctive brick effect moulding. Lined, using exterior grade hardwood ply.
FLOOR:
Foil insulation, equivalent to 2” of polystyrene. Lined, top and bottom with exterior grade hardwood ply.
LID:
Foil insulation, equivalent to 2” of polystyrene. Ventilated. Lid catch. Capped, with a tortoise shell inspired wooden tiled top and tortoisealised with a nameplate.
Surly upgrading from a box to a caddy must mean ‘Torty’ can now overwinter indoors, and not banished, yet again to that shelf in the garage.
Initially we have one size of Tortoise Caddy on offer. However, as folks start requesting bespoke sizes it will enable use to judge the size requirements and then more able to settle on two or three standard sizes. To that end, should you require a bespoke size, we will gladly quote.
